The Confraternity of St Ninian is a lay association and Scottish charity which exists to promote the re-conversion of Scotland to the Catholic Faith.
The Confraternity aims to achieve this through pilgrimages incorporating the Extraordinary Form of the Mass and traditional devotions.
Several events are held annually and are open to all. Events range from 1 day to our 3-day Two Shrines Pilgrimage which takes place every August, where pilgrims walk from the heart of Scotland’s capital city Edinburgh, to the historic town of St. Andrews. To find out more about our events please go to out Events page.
To mark the 700th anniversary of the dedication of St Andrews Cathedral in the presence of King Robert the Bruce, we are fundraising to support the 2018 Two Shrines Pilgrimage. If you would like to donate please go to our Events page. OUR 2018 FUNDRAISING TARGET IS £700.
As well as taking part in events it is also possible to become a member of the confraternity, even if they are not personally able to participate in the Confraternity’s pilgrimages. Membership is open to all who support the Confraternity’s aims and we greatly appreciate all the support we receive from members through their prayers and generous donations. To find out more about membership please go to our Join page.
